My name is Thomas Bruel and I joined IMC Gimborn as a physical therapist in November 2020.

In 2018, I received my bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen. Then I worked in primary care practices in Arnhem and Gendt. I myself grew up in Arnhem, which is where I moved back to after graduating. During my studies, I lived in the center of Nijmegen.

Over the past years, I have gained a lot of experience with a variety of different symptomologies and patient populations. Therefore, I can help you with all kinds of physical complaints as a physical therapist. Most current development is my enriched experience in the field of Corona rehabilitation. A proportion of people maintain long-term symptoms (fatigue, shortness of breath, difficulty concentrating) after infection, also known as lung (long-term) covid. It feels good to be able to help people with this. I have fortunately been able to help dozens of people with this complex rehabilitation.

My personal interest lies mainly in longer existing and/or persistent complaints (chronic). This has fascinated me for a very long time and in this I am looking for depth myself in terms of my self-development. Often several factors play a role in these complaints and I find it a challenge to work with you to see which ones play a role.
